Animals

When I started going through the pictures from last weekend "animals" is what kept running through my mind. Let me explain why...

Friday night was a Gambler's family night hockey game. They also held their annual "Dash for Cash" event to support local schools, one of which was Jackson's. We know the teacher elected to "dash for cash" for Jackson's school so we decided to go. The idea is for these teachers is to run in to the pile of money and stash as much cash as they can in their clothes in 20 seconds.

The money was laid out on a blanket in the middle of the rink.

Look close at the picture above, it was cut throat! This is why the word "animal" came to mind that evening. They were crazy nuts, but it was hysterical to watch.

My two little animals. : )

We bought Jackson two pucks for the "chuck a puck" promotion.

How it works is we pay $1 per puck and then Jackson chucks the puck on to the rink, hoping it'll land on one of the placards, which means you've won something.

He won!
We now have $10 to spend on a Glass Nickle Pizza. I hear it's good pizza...

Heading to the car after the game. The Gamblers WON!!!

Saturday Jackson and I took advantage of the half-price admission at the zoo. Again with the animal theme.

These animals seemed more tame than the ones from the previous night. : )
I had to get a photo of these cranes, I love it when they do this!

I'll never cease to be amazed by these enormous animals. Jackson loves giraffes, always has, and we are lucky to be able to experience them like this in NE Wisconsin (who'd a thought!).

Wild animal on the loose?

Headed to find the moose...

Found it!

Well, there you have it, a peek in to our 'wild' weekend.
Next weekend we'll be home a bit more and I'll be taking care of Chris...
