Happy Easter!

The long weekend started off great. I spent the day with Jackson riding bikes, going to the park and playing down by Duck Creek. He was also a big help in preparing for Easter visitors by helping with the vacuuming. The rest of the weekend turned to be just as special as my Friday...

My parents spent the night Saturday night and while my Dad and Jackson snuggled in the chair, Chris, my Mom and I revisited a favorite past time, we played a full cycle of shanghai! We used to do this more often but for some reason got away from it. We had a lot of fun...and I won!

Sunday we all got up and went to 8 am church and then headed back home to find that the Easter bunny had come while we were gone!!! It was nice to see that the bunny refrained from bringing a lot of sweets and stuck to more practical stuff (I love this bunny!). The Easter egg hunt was amusing as usually. Exceptionally so this year as my Dad hid the eggs. Apparently, the Easter bunny is 7' tall having hid a few of the eggs in trees and the bird feeder. Well done Dad!
