"Where has the time gone?"
People say that a lot when they are referring to their kid(s) growing up. I have never been fond of that saying; it makes it sound like you've missed something. For me, as a parent, time has not "gone by". I drink in and relish every day and enjoy watching my son grow into a kind and respectful little boy. I capture as much as I can in pictures, blog entries & my journal. Someday he'll see just how much I cherish each day with him. Here are some moments I've cherished recently. :)
'Helping' Dad on the deck
Taste testing the monster cookies we made for Dad (one of Chris' favorite cookies!)
Enjoying an afternoon play date with a good buddy.
The picture above and below are two I adore because his expressions are genuine. I caught him in action while he was screwing around.
I had to end it with a funny photo from the other night. Chris bought Jackson PJ's that were a bit too small. After washing them they were REALLY too small. Of course, he loves these PJ's and wears them constantly. The black socks were his choice. I about wet myself laughing when he came walking down the stairs saying "OK, I'm ready for bed" in this ensemble.

LOVE the PJ's picture! I look forward to those moments with Henry. More great moments you captured on "film" (or whatever they call digital pictures now), way to go!
