Friday I took the day off work and woke Jackson up with a surprise Mommy & Jackson day! His face was PRICELESS! Chris gave Jackson his second surprise of the day and came home before lunch so we could enjoy the rest of the day as a family.
The weather wasn't the best but that didn't stop us from doing a few crafts, going on a picnic (at the park in the back of the Trailblazer), enjoying a local indoor bounce house facility, and taking a super long walk in the late evening to wrap up a fabulous day. It was just what I needed, and started what turned out to be a great weekend, on the right foot.
I took this photo Friday morning, it reminds me of what's important.
Enjoying indoor fun on what we hope is the last cold day of the winter season.
This craft project started as one thing and morphed into another (the other was an über fail). No worries, we had fun and that's all that matters!
An Easter centerpiece maybe? Or not...
Me helping Chris chop wood on Saturday. This was a surprisingly therapeutic activity...
