I 'LOVE' Having Valentine's Day in Spring!

Valentine's Day is supposed to happen in February but there's no way this is February. We have flower bulbs popping out of the ground, it must be Spring! Mother Nature wouldn't dare throw winter at us now. Would she?

Hoping not, we celebrated the beautiful weather this weekend and enjoyed many hours on walks and just being outside. And, of course, I ran outside every day.
LOVE IT!!!

How I started off Valentine's Day for my littlest Valentine.
(heart-shaped banana bread - he got a kick out of it)

It's nice out - let's get outside and go for a hike!

Great photo of Chris and Jackson as we started out our hike.

Goofing off in the woods.

Chris teaching Jackson about the different tracks we were seeing in the snow.

Jackson saw a fallen tree in the woods and did what any kid would.

Mom and Jackson photo-op on the trail.

We were attempting to cross the stream without slipping or breaking through the ice. Let's just say it's a good thing Jackson had on waterproof boots.

The Green Bay Packers sponsored an event called LEAP at the Lambeau Field Atrium. The program is meant to encourage children to get out and play and just be active. A cause I can REALLY get behind!!!

Jackson attempting a forward flip on the bungee bounce.

Packer sweatband being turned into a Packer blindfold.

Jackson finally get the sweatband on how it's supposed to go...still doesn't look right. Actually it looks painful.

I wish we had a rock climbing gym in Green Bay; we all love to climb.

Jackson's favorite snack of late is peanuts. I bought him a cracking set off the clearence rack. It was like he won the lottery...all .99 cents of it.
