Jackson wanted to make 'cake pops' with his Grandma so we all got in on the fun this past weekend. I'm very appreciative to my parents for letting us attempt this feat and destroy their kitchen in the process. They'll be finding hardened chocolate and sprinkles for days. Besides the baking we also had the chance to catch up with family friends. It was good to see Nina and Dale and Jackson loved the song games Nina taught him. Thank you!
Jackson, armed and ready to bake.
Not bad! He cracked 3 eggs with one hand and only left a few shells behind. He said he saw how to do this...Food Network? : )
Cheers to chocolate goodness!
Chris has always been a brown noser!
Jackson not paying enough attention to the mixer. He was watching the timer to see when he was done. My Mom was brave to let him do this with no help.
Put the batter in the cups?
His patience to fill each one of these waned quickly.
I was taking the decorating way to seriously - note the piping bag.
Larry - not so serious. The bag blew out the back end.
We took advantage of every last bit of sunlight this weekend and got in many walks and garage soccer games.
Saturday evening we spent outside. 39 degrees didn't feel so cold...that's so sad to say.
Jackson trying to score during our garage soccer game (Jackson and Mom vs. Dad)
WE WON!
Jackson SCORES! (hit the back wall)
Note that his jacket is off. He has acclimated to our late winter.
