We've been looking for a larger bed for Jackson (he was still squeezing into a toddler bed) and a new king-sized mattress for us for about 6-months. I've done my research so I now know a mattress deal when I see one. My Mom called last weekend to tell me about a furniture deal she had seen. Chris and I went to take a look and sure enough it was a heck of a deal on Jackson's bed and ours! The beds were delivered Friday and we surprised Jackson when he got home:

First Night in Bed
The other deal of the day was the .80 cent Jiffy Pop I bought at Big Lots. I'm certain this package is a 1980's relic but for .80 cents this novelty provided a lot of interest and fun. Chris and I had flashbacks to our childhood as we watched the big silver top pop up.
