Fall Fun!

Another Fall weekend down and another weekend I wish I had the ability to control time. I have enjoyed the sights and smells of Fall more this year than any in recent memory. I think it's because about twice a week I'm craving a long, loseyourself kind of run and the near bye trail has provided that, along with picturesque views. It doesn't hurt that our new house provides us with the ability to enjoy the season without the sound of cars and trucks whizzing bye : )

If I did have the ability to control time I would hit pause, winter is fast approaching I'm afraid.....

It was an unbelievably beautiful day for a bike ride with my boy! We were on a mission to find leaves, acorns and pine cones for a project at school on Monday.

What a pose.

Jackson decided to create as much noise as possible in the tunnel by running with a stick against the ridges as it echoes. Jackson stopped withthe noise when a younger family came by with a baby and all the racket made their child cry...oops.

A Halloween craft I found on Kaboose.com (a favorite 'idea' site). He gets the ghost with candy stapled to it on Halloween...if he's good.
Translation: he has to wear the costume he doesn't know about yet.

This was as much fun for me as it was for Jackson. We can't wait to carve pumpkins but Dad has to be home for that (his are always the best!).
