Friday night was beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Stars, half-moon, no wind and it was just cool enough to remind you fall is here and in full force. A perfect evening for the Village of Howard to hold their community Fall Festival. It was complete with pumpkin decorating, a lantern and pumpkin lit trick-or-treat walk, bonfire, story teller, hot cocoa and the roasting of marshmallows.
The festival was held at Jackson's favorite park so, of course, we wrapped up our fun night at the playground. There's nothing like a hundred kids running like crazy in the dark with glow sticks and flashlights. Add in the screaming and squealing and I felt like I was having a psychedelic experience!
Bonfire where we enjoyed hot cocoa, roasted marshmallows and an excellent story teller!

One of the spooky lanterns that lined the trick-or-treat path.
Arriving just at sunset. The sunset was beautiful!
Candy, candy, candy!!!
