It doesn't take long for society to switch from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Heck, this year the switch seemed to happen immediately after people took their last bite of pumpkin pie! While I wasn't quite ready for Christmas to begin that early I'm getting in to the spirit of things now. It's hard not to when every night and weekend there's some Christmas event, party, concert, etc. to remind you of the season.
We found ourselves at Lambeau Field last Saturday evening for the Packer's Festival of Lights. The atrium was decorated beautifully and the activities were a lot of fun. However, I'm hoping next year the Packers rethink their timing for this event so it doesn't coincide with a home game. The place was jam packed!
After we had explored the venue we headed upstairs to eat at Curly's Pub. It's always great way to wrap up a Lambeau visit.
Chris and Jackson headed up to Curly's.
Say "Packers!"
It's no a done deal, he has been branded a Packer fan. : )
We walked past a movie screen with Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer on and Jackson became mesmerized. There was only 15 minutes left so we said we would stay. He took off to a lone seat in the front and sat on the edge of his chair, intensely listening and watching.
Oh the magic of Christmas!
A quick shot of the mayhem.
Cookie decorating. Jackson was all about the yellow and green.
Chris and Jackson in front of some of the beautiful displays around the atrium.
We enjoyed the lighting of the massive tree outside the stadium. As you can see in Jackson's face it's way past his bedtime...
Can you spot Jackson?
This was his kindergarten "Holiday Concert". We had been practicing songs for a few weeks but he never told us their were hand motions to go with the songs. It was a lot of fun to watch the kids fumble their way through the song and actions. Precious!
