Mom and Jackson Time

Chris was out west hunting this past week so it was just me and my little man. Wait, I should say my kindergartner! Tomorrow Jackson embarks on the journey of education. While the years ahead of him seem daunting I know they go fast so I savor every moment.
Chris and I are are always cognisant that every first is also our last, we never forget that.

Jackson and I enjoy a myriad of activities the past 8 days. Kindergarten open house, YMCA swimming, a handful of play dates, Bay Beach Amusement Park (FIVE HOURS!), Art Street, and lots of bike rides and football. Adding to the fun, bedtimes were flexible. Come on, it's a staycation!

Jackson and I listened to a band one evening at Art Street. This was a gorgeous night that culminated with Jackson and I enjoying a sunset on the City Deck and about an hour of water fun at the City Deck splash park.

Getting ready to go around on the Ferris wheel. The first time around he was a bit apprehensive, but after that he was asking to rock the cart. NO WAY!

This ride was a blast.!Jackson and I had to ride together but that was fine with me, I loved it! We went up those stairs to the top no short of 8 times. Great exercise!

Jackson picked this animal to ride on because "my Dad is hunting mule deer" in CO. I couldn't break it to him that it's Rudolph .

TRAIN RIDE! This was a much needed break with a breeze. It was 93 degrees this day! Five hours of this and both of us were just fine with watching the Packer pre-game that night

A dirt cake surprise for Dad when he came home.

Jackson's locker at school.

Uncle Mike look, my gym has a climbing wall!!!
