A Milestone

Jackson's now a kindergartner. And I can say without a doubt he was 100% ready for it too. I never understood when parents would say their kid seemed bored or unchallenged in daycare or 4k. I completely understand now. Jackson was ready for the next step and, with 2 weeks in, he is loving it. And the teacher he was assigned was the exact one I had wanted. The feedback from all my friends and neighbors were spot on...from what I've seen so far. I think this is going to be a great year!

The rest of these photos are miscellaneous photos from the weekend.

We attended a high school football game Friday night. The rain had just stopped and a rainbow appeared so Chris took out the camera. You can see the rainbow behind my head in the photo below.

Saturday we enjoyed the Tundra Tailgate event down on the City Deck. Ahman Green was there signing autographs. Jackson was speechless. Ahman was really cool to him. It's nice to see such a famous person so down to earth, especially with little kids (and especially when it's your kid!).

Jackson burning off some energy as we listed to the band play along the river.

A few photos from the City Deck of Jackson and us.

I'm on a mission here...looking for something.
Can you guess what (who) I'm looking for?

Jackson.
This is where he went to throw a fit, behind a garbage can. Once I found him I went back to sit with Chris. He can pout all he wants by the garbage, that's a bit of punishment he inflicted on himself.
