Time Well Spent

I was given a journal at our church baby shower the month before Jackson was born, I started writing in it at 6 months old and haven't looked back; I'm now on volume #4. I used to write every night, even just a paragraph, to document a milestone: first words, steps, funny stories, etc. I now write about every other or every second night, documenting the goofball things he says/does, reports from his school, hilarious stunts he pulls, his interactions with friends and family, etc. The difficult times are not off limits, I'm sure to note those for ammunition later in his life : )

I know I have more time than mother's with multiple children, and for that I'm thankful. I feel using this extra time towards documenting Jackson's life is time well spent. God forbid anything would ever happen to me, he would know just how much, and in my own words, his mother loved him.

The first three volumes:
He got a pen and had some fun with the third one.

Good job, Michelle! Keep it up as long as you can! Those will be treasured journals for Jackson some day!
