Saturday started out with baking cookies using our Halloween chocolate bars cut into chunks. They turned out delicious, even with all the healthy substitutions I made ( Hey - I had to try and make up for all those candy bars!). After loading up with sweets we headed to the Village's Christmas Parade (and froze our butts off). The parade loaded us up with even more sweets (Halloween wasn't enough?). I better get creative on what to do with tootsie rolls, jaw breakers and laffy taffy. I think my co-workers might like it!
After the parade I was in need of a run and Jackson was in need of a nap. Armed with his favorite DVD, a pillow and a blanket we headed downstairs. You'll see he had no problems finding dreamland.
The evening was a lot of flash cards and the card game War. Then it was 104 card pick up (2 decks) to end the night. Winter is here, it's time to get creative with indoor things to do. Winter feels long already...
