A Merry Chrsitmas to All and to All a Good Night!

And what a good night (and day) our Chirstmas' were. I say "Christmas" plural because we celebrated Christmas with my parents on Christmas Eve. Chris' Mom (in town from FL), us and my parents all met up at church Christmas Eve and then went back to their place for dinner and presents.

Christmas morning was two hours of unwrapping, picture taking and laughing. It was great watching Jackson take to the Santa concept and fun watching Sharon see him in all his craziness. Santa's big gift to Jackson this year was a train table and money for his college fund. Don't worry, while Santa didn't get crazy with gifts our little man didn't go without. We are blessed to have family who sent him gifts. Firetrucks, giraffes and remote controlled cars seemed to be the theme this Christmas. It's hard to explain to a 3 year old how grateful he should be for all the wonderful gifts he has received. I know, I know, he's only three. That doesn't not stop me from trying to explain it though! :)

Chris got me what any husband should get a shoe fanatic, two pair of crazy awesome shoes. I have been planning (and paying) for Chris' Christmas gift for a little over a year. For Christmas I paid off his truck and gave him the title. He was a little stunned.

Its been great having Chris' Mom here for the last couple of days. We're lucky enough to have her here until Thursday. Jackson enjoys seeing his "Grandma in Florida" in person.

I hope everyone reading this had a Merry Christmas too!

Remotes control cars!
