Never a dull moment

Whenever we're with Mike and Mara there's never a dull moment, especially now with the boys. This visit was no different, even though it was just Mara, Rohan, Jackson and I. On Saturday morning Chris had just walked out the door to go hunt when a screaming Rohan and Mara woke me up (4 am). Rohan was having a heck of a time breathing and sounded like he had croup. So, off we all went to the ER in our PJs. An hour later and some steriods and Rohan was feeling much better and we were back at home and up for a packed day.

After breakfast, we all headed to the Y so Mara and I could get in a workout and the boys could play in the massive YMCA play area. After a good workout we went to downtown Green Bay for their Holiday Parade. All of us, but Rohan especially, were not doing well with the cold. When Rohan's bottom lip began quivering uncontrollably we left the parade and went home for lunch. After lunch it was a play date with Lisa and her kids and then off to my parent's house to meet Chris and enjoy dinner. Chris got two deer on opening day, Jackson was just a little excited.

Needless to say it was a long day for all of us and by the time 7 pm rolled around and we headed back to Green Bay. Jackson fell asleep on the way home and was down for the night and Rohan was fighting it like a champ, along with the rest of us.

It was so enjoyable to have Mara and Rohan here, the boys played so well and I loved having a workout partner. Come back anytime...for residency maybe? Mara - you know my preference : )



Grandpa promised the boys tater tots with dinner...
