Bowling. Really?

I'm a sucker for a coupon (no kidding). So I couldn't resist using the bowling coupon we somehow acquired during one of Jackson's trick-or-treat escapades to fill up our Friday night. I was leery, not being a bowler by any stretch of the imagination, but what the heck. Well, we had an absolute blast, all of us.

Jackson was enjoying trying to shove the ball down the lane. But, after repeated bowls where we waited 3 minutes for the ball to reach the pins, it actually stopped half-way down the lane. We then opted for the preschooler handicap device, a ramp (we already had the bumpers). This improved his speed tremendously and kept his attention on the game, now that his ball actually made it to the pins.
