What 3-Day Weekend?

Yes, it actually seemed to go that fast! We purposefully scheduled the entire weekend with activities and outings to make the most of our time together and the beautiful weather. Here's how the Stokes' spent Saturday through Monday:

Saturday Highlight: The Northeast Wisconsin Zoo!
These little cars are as comfortable as they look. No worries : )






Carousel Time! Of course, it had to be the giraffe.


The raccoon was trying to communicate an escape plan to Jackson.


"I see London, I see France...." Jackson was looking for the moose who took refuge under the deck to cool off.


Believe it or not, the Rainbow Swing Set area at the zoo is almost as popular as the animals.


Crazy, but this is the only elephant at this zoo.


A great way to end a warm day at the zoo.




Sunday Highlight: Swimming at Grandma & Grandpa's and then an evening at the splash park!

Dressing for bed at the park = chills = "I have to pee!". That's not water directly in front of him....
Quick note: Jackson is finally potty trained. One day he just got it and that was it, even at night. I'm still leery though and put night time pull-ups on him but we'll soon be a diaper-free household!


I couldn't help but stop and get a photo of the sunset on our way home from the splash park. Utterly beautiful.
