Quick Post

This weekend Chris was turkey hunting most of the time. Jackson and I played outside as much as possible and acted just plain silly, we have more fun that way and it excuses my behavior : )

This will be short since I haven't packed for my couple of days in Boston. I promise to do a birthday posting for Jackson (his 3rd birthday is Wednesday) soon after I return.

Saturday was beautiful! To add to a plant lesson that Jackson just finished at school, we planted flower and vegetable seeds. We'll be watering them and watching them grow (keep your fingers crossed). Truth be told, it was really more about playing with water and dirt. Oh, and eating lunch outside (lunch consisted of PB sandwich with a side of dirt).


The bird bath was in dire need of a cleaning so Jackson and I tackled the job. The scrub brush we used was the same one my Grandparents used when we would help them clean their bird bath at their farm (theirs NEVER looked as bad as mine did). The bird bath we cleaned was from them as well. Lots of fun memories for me, I hope Jackson can say the same some day.
