Jackson had a great, fun-filled birthday. For me, this was the first birthday where I felt a tinge of sadness. It was fleeting, but it was that feeling so many Moms have expressed but I never understood. It's that feeling that they're growing up. Jackson is growing up, it's going SO FAST, and I just can't get enough of him at this age. I want to freeze him at this age to take in all the wonder and fun he exudes. But, since I haven't figured out how to manipulate time (yet!), I take LOTS of photos and video and journal daily. I look back in my notebooks and smile at all the stories, issues and comments. Someday he'll either rue me or love me for documenting all of this.

Awe, such a lucky boy to have such great parents! That's great that you document so much of his life, he will enjoy that some day. I can't believe he is 3 already! Happy Birthday Jackson!
Great sunrise picture! So glad you were able to capture the special day. Your pictures are great and it is amazing to see him grow up. You are doing a wonderful job;)
