Iowa Fun

Last weekend we loaded up and headed to Iowa. Saturday we went to Kaylee's soccer game and enjoyed watching her motor all over the field. That afternoon we celebrated Jackson's birthday. He received a bat and ball set with a motorized ball thrower and bubbles! He loved playing with all of his new toys and has since enjoyed them at home. Thank you to the Bowers for the birthday gifts! We also baked and decorated birthday cakes. Jackson, Taylor and Kaylee put their artistic talents to work. Jackson got a little out of control, it didn't help that the lid on the sugar balls fell off and dumped on his cake. He didn't mind!

Saturday night we went to visit with friends of mine. That's right, the Three Amigas were together again! Shawna, Leah and I had a fun time getting our families together, reminiscing and catching up. I miss them dearly and relished the laughter, humor and friendship! THANK YOU to Shawna, Andy and their family for their hospitality!!!
