Wake Up, Go to the YMCA, Play & Repeat

That's how our weekends go and we wouldn't have it any other way. Saturday's and Sunday's usually consist of having a relaxing morning followed by  the YMCA for a workout (Jackson goes to their daycare) and then playing inside or out with errands sprinkled in. We've been lucky enough to have warmer weather so much of our play has been outside this past week and weekend. We took the dogs on one of our outings, they're always entertaining (see photo below).

Chris went shed antler hunting in the wildlife sanctuary on Sunday so Jackson and I dropped him off and took a hike in Baird's Creek. It was fun walking down the frozen creek until we started coming across open water. Needless to say, we headed back up to the trail. About halfway through our hike Jackson looked at me and said "I peed down my pants." I thought he must have mistaken wetness from the snow for pee but the straight trail south had me investigate further. Sure enough, the last time he went to the bathroom he didn't 'tuck the hose in the bucket'. He has been going to the bathroom without assistance and without issue, until now. Luckily a spare pair of orange 'stylish', too-small sweatpants were waiting and our hike resumed.

Saturday Jackson ran himself silly indoors at a place called 'Wild Air' in Appleton. We met my parents there and then went to their place for dinner. Jackson had a blast (not surprising) and slept a full 13 hours that night!

Quote of the weekend: Jackson says to my parents, "We're getting rid of Maggee" <--this is not true but due to some recent 'incidences' we have threatened Maggee with a new home. My God they absorb everything at this age!

Here are some additional photos from the week/weekend. Enjoy!

"You're not cool unless you pee your pants." Billy Madison...:)
I'm sure you knew the consequences of that snowball, but it's good to see I'm not the only one that can't pass that up...:)

Seeing all the stuff you do with Jackson makes me so excited to see my boy at that age! Hope time doesn't fly so fast tho!

Glad somebody is enjoying all that snow! Yeah, for the warmer temps! When it hit the 30's for a few days my Dad heard a guy say he wanted to go hit some golf balls. Gotta love the midwest!

Your little guy is really growing up - his looks are changing into that little boy look rather than toddler!
