Having grown up going to my Grandparent's farm my whole life I get nostalgic when I go to the Bacon's Farm. Dan and Holly, Mara's parents, are dairy farmers and have always welcomed Mike's family with open arms. Mike, Rohan, Jackson and I went over to the Bacon's Tuesday for lunch and to tour the farm with the boys. Rohan enjoyed his one-on-one time with his Grandma and Grandpa Bacon. I 'think' they enjoyed that time too : )
Saturday Chris, Jackson and I spent close to an hour outside in 30 degree weather posing for family pictures at a local park. By the time we were done Jackson's lips were pale blue and both our noses were red and running. I'm hoping they can photo shop that out? While we did photos, everyone else braved a frigid 5k...Mike, we'll just visit you from now on, OK?
We all rendezvous at the Bacon's Farm for lunch. We had a whole crew of people which really made the afternoon fun. We took Jen and her girls up to the barn and milking parlor. It's the closest they had ever been to cows and they hadn't seen the milking process before. It was fun to regurgitate everything Dan and Holly had taught us earlier in the week. It's really fascinating to see and gives you a new appreciation of the process. Luckily, Jackson managed to stay out of the 'mud' this time.
As always, we had a great time at the farm and enjoyed seeing everyone together. Next time Mara has to come too (we missed you!).

So glad I'm done with snow! I'm still trying to thaw out from last week. Maybe the triple digits this weekend will help...:)
I SO thought the same thing about the V-neck! Can't wait to see the family photos!
