Rohan and Mike Readiness!

Sorry, its been awhile since I've updated the blog. I was in Portland, OR for work, then I was sick when I returned, and this weekend I'm watching my Grandma while my parents enjoy some much needed fun with the 'Fuggers' (long story). We're having our own fun at Deb and Larry's house though, Jackson keeps us well entertained:


After I tucked him into the make-shift bed at my parent's house, Jackson said to me, "Mommy, you go out there" (translation: "get out"). Then he fell asleep. My little boy is growing up so fast, too fast!


Right now the focus at our house is on Mike and Rohan arriving for a week visit... tomorrow! Jackson has been talking about it for a long time and asks EVERY day "We go pick up Baby Rohan at the airport today?" He has also decided to give certain toys and clothes to Rohan, including the new jacket I brought back for him from Portland. Everything goes to Rohan, for now. We'll see if this willingness to share continues once Rohan arrives. In the meantime, Jackson is preping for his 'protoge's' arrival, that includes making sure the bird feeders are full. This is so Rohan can watch the birds from the bay window like Jackson does. Recently we (especially Jackson) have enjoyed a late brood of finches who burrow into our feeder tray to stay warm while they eat.
