Merry Christmas!

We went down to my parents house for Christmas Eve and spent the night so we could celebrate Christmas morning with them. We had a great time and started two Christmas traditions, putting out cookies and cereal for Santa and his reindeer and reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas (my Mom actually made him his own book!).

It was so much fun to watch Jackson as he opened his gifts. Some of the items he received included a dump truck, firetruck, helicopter, toy CD player, books and a toddler bed (he'll get that later). He was so overwhelmed a couple times he didn't know what to play with next. In the afternoon we decided to tackle making Christmas cookies. This was a lot of fun. Between Jackson spilling flour on the chair and me spilling an entire package of sprinkles on a single cookie (I thought there were holes in the top!) we managed to make quite a mess of my parent's kitchen, and the rest of their house for that matter! Thanks for being so understanding Mom and Dad!

Here are a couple cute videos of Jackson all wound up....the norm as of late : )

The following day Jackson and I played outside in the snow. God knows there's plenty of it. I pulled him around in the yard in his sled until my quads burned and then I pulled him around the block on the sidewalks. He LOVES the sled, we'll be doing much more of this if it stays a decent temperature.
