First Steps for Everyone!

Jackson took his first steps today!!!! We were in the kitchen and he took two steps walking from Chris to me. We ran for the camera and got his next steps on video (see below).



Chris and I were jumping around like maniacs and Jackson had no idea what was going on. However, I'm sure he appreciated the ridiculous display we put on for him. The other "first steps" is in regards to the entire Stokes' family. We took the first steps toward putting our house up for sale. Yesterday we signed all the papers and Monday it goes on the MLS system. I'm sure many of you are surprised that I finally gave in to moving...given my penny-pinching nature. Well, Chris and I have been talking about it for probably 4 years and there's nothing like a child (along with the two dogs) to make your starter home feel small. We've been here 7 years and have really done a lot to this house so it's bitter-sweet to start looking for another one. Then again, the market is so crappy right now who knows, we may still be in this house next year. Either way we have a home and we don't HAVE to move...I guess : )

I've added a couple other photos for your amusement. Today at breakfast I gave Jackson an english muffin with jelly, pancakes with peanut butter and oatmeal with fruit. He loved all of it but I have no idea where it all goes he eats like a horse! According to the doctor he's only in the 30% percentile for weight. I think their scale needs checked...my biceps ache after holding him for too long, great workout though!
