Snow Day!

OK, a snow and ice day.

Today we were homebound; we didn't even venture out for church due to the weather. It started out with rain (ice) and then finally turned over to snow and that's what its been doing for the last 6 hours. I'm not sure how many inches we have but it's plenty (we've had over 70 inches already this year!!!). Not getting out was a little trying on all of us. But we did have fun and took some photos and video to keep entertained. The dogs are always fun entertainment too. On the weekends we usually are on the go since we have the time and Jackson loves getting out (so do we!). We did manage to get some odds and ends done around the house on Saturday to get it ready to go on the market (March 1st) and then traveled to my parents for lunch and relaxation. However, Chris is coming down with something, he has a horrible cough. He's heading to the doctor tomorrow...it must be bad since he's suggesting the doctor's visit. Jackson and I have an entire day to ourselves tomorrow since his daycare has an in-service day. We're planning on taking advantage of the newly cleared roads and heading out to run errand and whatever else suits us.

I'm looking forward to this Friday morning when Jackson and I go to Iowa with my parents to visit my Sister, her family and my Grandma. It's a short 3-day work week for me (yes!). Chris will stay in Green Bay since this is the big Deer Classic weekend and we have a booth that has to be manned. We'll miss him!!!
