Actually it wasn't fun at all, I'm being sarcastic. We attempted to have Jackson's 3-month photos taken last Saturday and it was a complete and utter disaster. It all boiled down to three adults making fools of themselves trying to get a screaming 3-month old to smile. The shoppers at JC Penny had a riot watching us look like idiots. Why do they put glass around the studio so people can watch these kinds of train wrecks? Someone has a sick sense of humor. Anyway, I digress... Jackson was in melt-down mode and wanted NOTHING to do with photos or smiles for that matter. Who new getting photos done would be such an endeavor! Wouldn't you know it, by the time we left the little guy was all worn out and asleep. We reschedule for next month, maybe a couple weeks older will help? Probably not : ) Here's an armature happy photo of him since we have no professional ones to share. Better luck next time I hope!!!

I had the same problem with Zallie when we went to JC Penny, however I found she loves Sears Photo place! So maybe try a different place. In Baltimore JCP studio is small and dark and I guess it scared Z, at Sears the room is much bigger and brighter and she always does fine there! Just a suggestion! Better luck next time!
What a great smile for you guys!
You could always do sleeping photos, sing the ark-y song, or find a place that opens at 6am:) Or just get a few of the not so happy ones from now and torture him with them later:)
I have totally been there! It seems Payton will be all smiles and then the minute we walk in the studio he completely freaks out!
cute picture!!

Welcome to the club Michelle :) I went through hell everytime I had maegan's pictures done, Anna-Kate is not quite as bad but she's had her moments too. It's gotten to the point where I just knwo when we go to the picture studio I'm going to end up looking like I just ran a marathon, dripping sweat and utterly exhausted. FUN. lol
