My first birthday as a mom was nothing short of awesome. Saturday evening my parents took Jackson so Chris and I could go out to dinner and then go to a coffee house to relax and remind one another who we are : ) It was much appreciated (THANKS MOM & DAD) and much needed. We stayed at my parents house Saturday night and then went to Amherst to celebrate with my brother, my parents and the Bacon's. It was a very relaxing day and Dan and Holly never fail to be such gracious hosts. The food was wonderful and Mike and I even got our own chocolate heart cakes!
On my birthday morning Jackson (AKA Chris) surprised me with an iPod Nano. Chris had accidentally damaged my first one awhile back and was tired of seeing me try to change songs mid-run using both hands (hilarious sight I'm sure). I've uploaded the card that accompanied the iPod because it's just too funny.
