Memorial Weekend

What a great weekend! Minus some rain on Saturday afternoon it was picture perfect in Wisconsin. My sister and her family as well as my Grandma all traveled up from Iowa to spend Friday through Sunday with us. We all congregated at my parents house and just hung out and enjoyed each others company. One big announcement came out and that is that my brother and Mara announced that they have sold their home. Now that have to rent for a couple months but the weight of having to sell their home before they move to Kirksville, MO has been lifted and I'm sure it feels great. Congrats to them!

On the baby front Jackson's umbilical cord finally fell off so he got his first real bath. Up until now he's just had washcloth baths. I took some photos of his reaction to the water, he seems to like it! He's doing well and Chris and I are adjusting to his schedule. It'll be interesting trying to orchestrate everything when I go back to work the middle of July! I hope all of you had enjoyable Memorial Days with family and friends!
