Things are great. Any day with my son is a good one, even the bad days (mostly nights)...and there have been some. Unfortunately for us and Jackson he is a colicky baby. This has affected his sleeping and ours and until last night we were getting about a 1-2 hour reprieve between his screaming. I feel so bad for him because the pediatrician attributes all the discomfort to gas. We've tried just about everything and then finally last night he slept 5 hours straight! Of course I was up a couple times to check on him and be sure he was still alive : ) Needless to say I feel great today! I hope tonight is a repeat performance. Other than the colic Jackson is doing well. As of Monday he is 10 lbs 3 oz and is really filling out as you can tell from the photos. I posted a video of him as he begins to show signs of interaction. I'm excited for this because up until now I talk and he just stares at me...not as much fun as when he'll begin to acknowledge me : ) The next big event for Jackson and us will be his baptism. We've scheduled it for July 29th and asked my sister (Jen) and Chris' brother (Steve) to be the Godparents.
On other fronts the big happening right now is that my brother sold his home in Milwaukee in anticipation of their move to Kirksville, MO the first week in August. So this weekend they have to be out of their home and into a temporary apartment. We're very excited for him and Mara and can't wait to get down and see them. It works out very nice because Chris' sister is about 4 hours away in Kansas City so we can see everyone when we make the trip.
That seems to be all for now. Hope everything is well with you and your families!

What no pictures mid-tantrum?! :)
Love the picture of Maggee licking him.
You can always drop him off here if you need a break!
