Oshkosh 5K

On Saturday (4/14) my family and extended family walked a 5K (3.1 miles) in Oshkosh, WI. Attendees were Mike, Mara, Dan & Holly (Mara's parents), Sally (Mara's sister), Jen (my sister), Bethany (my Grandma), Larry & Deb (my parents) and Chris and I. We all had a really fun time and just enjoyed being together as a family. There was a lot for us to be proud of....my sister and mom worked really hard to prepare for this walk (they're looking GREAT!), my Grandma was the oldest participant (78 years old), I'm 37 weeks pregnant and Sally is about 28 weeks pregnant! We all survived and will have great memories of a fun day and weekend with our families. I've also included a video from the night before the race of me munching on a square of dark chocolate and my Dad taking a video of me without me knowing....thanks Dad!

Hope you enjoy the photos and video!

All of us at 6:30 am before the walk. Don't we all look so happy! Notice Chris' Starbucks cup...it wasn't our only stop there : )

After the walk Mike, Mara, Chris and I took our dogs to Barid's creek (open space near our home) to run them for an hour. We were successful in draining them of energy so when everyone showed up at our house for dinner that night the dogs were not their "normal" selves.
