Wow!

Wow applies to a few things this weekend.

First, Jackson brought home his kindergarten pictures on Friday. WOW, I'm stunned at how much my little man has grown!

WOW also applies to a shopping trip I took to Chicago this past Saturday. Through Green Bay's Service League, I was able to ride down with a friend on a coach bus. That's the way to see Chicago, someone else chauffeurs you! It was a fabulous time. I was constantly entertained by the people (Whoa!), buildings and clothes. My score.....a sweater dress and boots which I had been looking for for way too long. I never would have guessed I would have found boots CHEAPER along Chicago's "Magnificent Mile" than in Green Bay.

The crowds on Michigan Ave. were unbelievable. The stores said this was the start of the Holiday shopping season. It may have been a "little" busy but that just added diversity to our people watching. Let me just say, in regards to clothing, ANYTHING goes in Chicago.

Lunch. Sorry for the ghost picture, there was a less freaky one but I accidentally deleted it. Anyways, we enjoyed an Italian meal than was a little left of center from what I usually eat but it was fantastic!

 My boots!

A trip in to the Hershey's store was torture but I made it out without a purchase. I didn't step foot in to the Ghirardelli store though, that would have been a chocolate massacre.

Dinner outside before we had to leave. It was over 60 degrees the day we were there.
PERFECT WEATHER!!!

I brought Jackson back a 4-wheeler firetruck kit from the Leggo Store. He did really following the instructions to put it together. I think Santa (or his Tanta!) may bring him another one.
