Jackson had "Karate Week" at Y camp last week. He hasn't done, nor has he been exposed to karate all that much; this was all new and exciting to him. He would come home talking about his moves each day but never showed us the full extent of what he learned. It was fun watching him be so disciplined and sharp with his moves and to see everything he had been taught in such a short amount of time!
I'm so used to the craziness of a 5 year old boy. I have no idea how the Sensei got 80 kids to listen and do exactly what he says but it was impressive!
At the end of the presentation was the breaking of the board demonstration. Each child was allowed to try and break a board with their hands. They hadn't practiced this much so they were all a bit nervous but they all did great!
