Spur of the Moment

Saturday was not the nicest of days and after spending some chilly time outside we were ready to be indoors. While being indoors doesn't excite me, it REALLY doesn't excite a 4 (almost 5!) year old. Jackson was getting restless and said, "Wouldn't it be great if we could go to the Building for Kids (Children's Museum) like I did on my field trip at school." He hadn't been there in 9 months and out of no where he says he wants to ho. Well, after that comment I pulled Chris aside and reminded him that we have a Groupon for the Building for Kids. So, spur of the moment, we hopped in the the car.

This isn't the first time we've been to the Building for Kids, but exhibits have changed a bit. One thing that hasn't changed is the Museum's ability to suck the energy right out of a kid. Now that's how you spend a crappy, cold Saturday.

Getting his aggression out?
The water area is always a favorite.
Taking a little break and playing with the diggers. Note the red face. He found some buddies and ended up running hard for most of the time we were there. Unfortunately, we had let him pick out his clothes and get dressed and never looked to see if he had a short sleeve shirt underneath. The great tomato face showed itself.
"Oh, the possibilities."
Jackson checking Mom out at the grocery store.
Chris thought this photo was funny because I'm buying pizza, hamburgers, cake and donuts. Not my typical food fare. Ha, ha, thanks Honey : )
I'm trying to explain to him that I have a coupon for the onions.
: )
Random photo of Jackson and giraffe statues he took a liking to while we were shopping.
Another random shopping photo:
I should have bought him this little hat to wear at the Appleton Flag Day Parade. I may have to go back and get it, he looked cute!

I'm not so sure I'll be going back to buy these...
