The Good Life: Parties, Fish Sticks, Puppies and Popsicles

We're coming to realize that the spring will be a busy birthday season for us. It seems all of Jackson's little buddies have birthdays in April and May. So, similarly to last weekend, we went to a birthday party this weekend. By the time Jackson's party rolls around we'll have seen his friends about every other weekend for the last two months!

Merrick's 4th Birthday Party.
The Pinata was a great idea...and no one got hurt!

Post Pinata candy scramble.

Time to blow out 'all' those candles!

The rest of the weekend was just a little of this and a little of that. I'll spare you the details and leave you with the pictures and some brief descriptions.

My Dad, Jackson and Chris are busy coloring the puzzle my parents bought for Jackson.
He LOVES it. It was the first thing we had to do Sunday morning (6:30 am).

Jackson posing as my master chef helper while making healthified tilapia fish sticks.
(I'm sorry, but I can't stand feeding him the processed 'fish' sticks from the bag.)

Jackson taking care of his Gabby girl, our old lady (15 year old Brittany).

Jackson helping me make the first fruit and yogurt popsicles of the year. All winter we have been freezing the fruit we don't finish before it starts to go bad. It works great for this recipe!
