A Little Rest & Relaxation For All

Well it's back to work for me as of Monday. But before I went back I needed a little rest and relaxation and so did Chris, my brother and Mara. So last weekend Mike & Mara came up and we all went back to Whitefish Dunes State Park to hike. The day was beautiful and a storm was passing over Lake Michigan so the Lake was really rough. The video of the waves was taken by Mara from a cave that was on the side of one of the cliffs. We all took turns climbing down into it, it was awesome. The rest of the weekend was very nice too. We grilled out, worked out to relieve some stress and had dinner with my parents Saturday night.

Work is going really well, it's great to be back. I am in awe of all men and women who stay at home with their children; it's HARD and EXHAUSTING work. Jackson is adjusting well to daycare he just needs to learn to sleep when he's there so he's not so cranky when he gets home : )
