Celebrations!

This past week we spent our time celebrating some notable events. First, we celebrated our Country by to the Appleton Flag Day Parade. We also celebrate two very pivotal moments with friends. We attended a neighbor's graduation party and celebrated the birth of a friend's baby. You can't help but smile and enjoy yourself when your days are touched by these kind of events. We don't have a ton of pictures but in the ones we did snap smiles abound!

Flags in hand and ready for the start of the parade.  His enthusiasm faded when I explained we had at least 30 minutes to wait.

We spent the 30 minutes playing 'smack the gum bubble before it disappears'. This game never fails to get Jackson and I laughing.

Chris and Jackson swear there was a fly on the bill of my hat...I highly doubt that.

Jackson and I with a friend's newborn little boy. It was so much fun to see her and meet the new little man. Babies are so exciting!
Before the baby was born Jackson was convinced it was a giraffe and named it Melman (from Madagascar). He was very excited to meet him and wasn't disappointed that he was a little boy :) This picture warmed my heart!

No resemblance (thank goodness!)
