This weekend's big indoor day was spent with friends at The Building for Kids in Appleton. My cheep self has kept our family from enjoying this place but after many endorsements from friends it was the perfect weekend to suck it up and have some fun. We met the Thoresen Family there on Saturday afternoon and the kids played for hours!. This place really is cool and we'll be back, it was worth every penny! This place has it all: art, diggers, firetruck, airplane, mini-mart, tree house, ball drop, golf, basket ball..... Best of all, the kids had a blast and expelled a ton of energy and had a great time.
After The Building for Kids we headed to the Thoresen's house for a delicious dinner, enjoyable conversation and more play for the kids. I got my baby fix enjoying holding their 5-week hold son. And it was really neat to see Jackson hold him. He talked about it on the way home saying, "I think Baby Easton likes me!" : )
He has the world on his shoulders

Magnetized digger. Chris liked this 'toy'

Anything with firetrucks is a hit with Jackson

Catch them!

The water exploration area. I caught Jackson taking a drink of the water. Actually, I over heard another woman say, "Oh honey, I don't think you should drink that!". I turned around to see Jackson scooping up water with a toy and slurping. YUCK!!!!!!!!!!

Jackson and Cody digging in the 'dirt'

Activity book fun. I gave him a retractable pen to use and when he would concentrate on something he would press the pen to his hand and click the retractor. God only knows how the pen ended up on his face.
