Perspective

Early Tuesday morning I was hurridly driving to meet a co-worker. I headed out on my usual route from one highway onto another, my mind racing with things to do. At that moment I realized this was my version of the 'rat race'. The day in, and day out of life's insanity to the point you literally don't remember what day it is. I stopped the insanity in my mind and instead looked around at the pre-dawn sky and enjoyed the sight of a beautiful crescent moon, a sight I would have surely missed had I not stopped and taken the time to appreciate the morning.

I continued to gawk at the morning and enjoy my worry-free drive. The sun had began to rise and I caught a great shot with my camera....the photos never do the actual scene justice.

These are the moments that give me perspective and remind me to take the time and enjoy the moment, because time doesn't stop and wait.
