This past weekend we attended the Stokes' reunion. Chris' family gets together every three years for a reunion somewhere in the US. It was first held in Colorado, then Tennessee and this year it was at Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort in Utica, IL. There is no 'good; place to have the reunion as his family is spread all over the country. This year the 30 or so attendees traveled from the following states: MO, WI, CO, MT, CA, ND, IL, AZ, GA and VA. Impressive! We played hard and ate well : ) Chris relished the time with the extended family he sees very little and reminisced about his Dad with his Aunts and Uncles. I would say it was therapeutic for him to be around his Dad's siblings. That did my heart good. Here are some photos from the weekend.
