Fishing, Puddles and Photos

This posting is as convoluted as the title suggests; odds and ends from the past week. It rained here two solid days so Jackson and I took advantage of the puddles and went puddle jumping. We also took a couple walks in the rain just to get outside. Yes, the neighbors probably think we're crazy but they thought that before our walk and they'll think it again (no doubt).

Mid-week, while I was being tortured at spin class by my physical therapist who's also my spin instructor, Chris took Jackson fishing. It was the first time he was able to use his fishing rod from his birthday. Wouldn't you know it, they caught a decent sized large-mouthed bass on their last cast with Jackson's rod. You couldn't have made the experience any more exciting for either of them. However, despite his excitement, holding the fish wasn't something Jackson was so keen on.

And finally, hallelujah, Jackson has THREE daycare photos that turned out! We have had some doozies that will surely come back to haunt him when he grows up but for now we will proudly display these.
