Horsin' Around

Last Sunday we scored a personal tour of a horse farm. It was just us and the facility manager. Chris had horses growing up so he was especially stoked (no pun intended) in going to the facility. Jackson and I were excited to see the "baby horses and their mommies".

The Arabian horse (see video) was gorgeous and by far my favorite. I had never seen an Arabian horse in person and now can better appreciate (but not fully understand) their monetary value ($100,000!). They are graceful, strong and their conformation is striking. Jackson just thought he was 'neat'.

A kiss from a foal. There were many in return.

The beautiful Arabian

Stare Down? We would lose.

Dad loves the pinto horses

Enjoying the farm setting.

No, he's NOT getting a pony just because his Dad had one growing up!

How fun!
Just for the record - not ALL Arabians are $100,000, or that pretty!
