Decorating for Christmas Part I

We'll be gone for most of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday and with gun-deer season starting we needed to take advantage of having everyone home to begin the Christmas decorating. The tree and outdoor decorations will happen this weekend, but Friday night we managed to get some things done.

Jackson wasn't all that interested in Christmas last year, what a difference a year makes! He found awe and wonder in everything from the giant snow globe, to the stockings but especially the nativity scene (thank you Sharon!). We all had so much fun and I laughed more last night than I have in months. It was truly a great night; I can't wait to do the tree! These photos portray the evening, lots of smiles and many laughs.

I'm no angel and the last person I saw with this type of shrubbery around their head ended up on a cross...I took it off.

I'm sure he's pondering the toys this globed Santa will be bringing him
