Friday night, in preparation for Chris' arrival home Jackson and I went to my parent's house and made a giant cookie and he decorated it for his Dad. It was sweet to watch, especially when he kissed the cookie for Daddy.

love the calendar! autumn is also missing jon and we too made one on the computer so she can cross of the days (a countdown really). however, I love the cut outs and picture idea. i'm already gathering the pieces so the kids can decorate his welcome home sign.
sorry no elk this year! that just means he gets to go again, right?
