We had some great plans for the weekend, none of which materialized for one reason or another. The weekend was just as enjoyable though. Saturday Jackson got a haircut. This is usually a fun experience for him (see first photo pre-clippers), but this time Mom came and so it was an all out disaster (you can figure out which photo I'm talking about here).
This weekend I also tackled the installation of a second hard drive on our computer. It took until Saturday afternoon before I had all the settings, connections and formatting figured out (thanks for being 'on call' Mike!). Jackson was my helper...
The rest of the weekend was spent outside, swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's and on the potty (Jackson not us). Let me explain that last comment. On Friday evening Jackson actually told us he had to use the potty and then actaully went! So we thought why not try big boy underwear and potty training this weekend. Being new to this whole experience I didn't realize how much time I would be spending on my hands and knees cleaning up pee in the house or sitting with Jackson in the bathroom. This is why much of the weekend were were outside : ) I'm not sure he's ready to start this process just yet but he sure looks cute in those little briefs.
