The weekend couldn't have come soon enough, especially for Chris. After a rough week at work and news that his Mom was, and still is, in the hospital (staph infection), the timing to finally have a weekend at home couldn't have come at a better time. Here's how the weekend went....
Friday evening we went to Barnes & Noble (B&N) to relax and get out of the house. The recent snow is already causing me cabin fever (winter isn't even officially here yet!). At B&N Chris read hunting magazines and Jackson and I enjoyed a free holiday harp concert. It was amazing. There were about 12 full-sized ~6' harps in a circle playing Christmas songs. Jackson and I were both mesmerized!
Saturday it was run-run-run, literally and figuratively. I got a great run in in the early morning and then we spent the rest of the morning running all over Green Bay shopping. The afternoon was spent going through old toys, scrubbing the floors from the salty, wintery mess invading us and vacuuming up what seemed to be enough dog hair to knit an afghan. I thought dogs kept more hair during the winter? Oh yeah, not vacuuming in recent memory may have had something to do with it : )
Sunday I managed another morning run (it's great to be home for a weekend) and then my parents came up for the Packer game and lunch. Chris had done up a batch of his awesome chili for us to enjoy. It was a relaxing (translation = lazy) day but that was fine by me!
GET WELL SOON SHARON!
Our Sunday half-time entertainment.

We got LOTS of snow too! Like 2"! Man are we buried...:)
I like the little Nike+ characature on your blog. 605 Miles?!?!? Nuckin Futs.
How funny- we see many of the same things with Sam- the un-diapering, the "helping" clean- he insists on helping me vacuum under the tree every few days...it's so fun to watch them grow- and Mara and Mike will be joining the fun soon too!!!
