What a Weekend!

Weekends are great when they start Thursday after work! Chris and I took Friday off to do stuff around the house. We're looking to put the house on the market in the next month and needed to go through things and de-clutter. I think we took 9 or 10 trips to our storage facility. The house looks a hundred times better but still not big enough for our new needs (Jackson)! Thanks to my Mom and Dad for taking Jackson overnight Friday and giving us more time to get things done!

Saturday was a swim day. We had swim lessons at the "Y" and it was family day so my parents came and took photos for those of you who wanted to see Jackson in fine form. That evening we went to a different "Y" for family swim night. We got a couple photos of that too. He loves the water, especially being on his belly going after a toy.

Sunday was Chris' day. His birthday is Tuesday but with work and an evening church meeting we won't be celebrating much on the actual day. So we hopped in the car at 8 am Sunday and went to Milwaukee. First stop was at Mike & Mara’s house they're selling in Milwaukee. We checked up on it and reported back. It was WEIRD being there without them. We then went to Alterra, our favorite coffee place; again, weird to be there without Mike, Mara and all the dogs. This was our usual resting place after a long walk downtown and along the lake. We still had a great time and I enjoyed every sip of my Oolong tea! We then headed to the Mecca of hunting....Cabela's. Chris had a gift card and some other money to use towards a few items. We had a very nice time and Jackson even found a camo chair to relax in (see photo). I would have loved to get it for him but for $140 we passed : ) All-in-all a productive and great family weekend. Hope you all enjoy the photos!!!
