Jackson has recently become fascinated with the kitchen. He loves opening cupboard doors and playing with pots and pans (noise!). Of course, everything he touches has to be washed because he's drooling like one of Pavlov's dogs. I swear it has been at least 3 weeks of constant drooling to pop his first top tooth and it still hasn't shown up! I shouldn't complain though, his sleeping has been stellar the last month, despite the teething, even sleeping through the night five or six times and only getting up briefly the other nights. Needless-to-say, Chris and I are happier people because of the extra sleep : )
The dogs continue to be a source of enjoyment for Jackson and us. They entertain him to no end. Gabby is even enduring the constant hair pulling; Maggee isn't so tolerant but just runs away and doesn't snap or growl (thank God). Before the dogs go to sleep they go up to Jackson's crib to check on him to make sure all is well, it's really sweet and we're happy they have taken so well to him.
I hope everyone in the Midwest has dug out of the tremendous amount of snow we've had this year and the COLD! For those of you in warm places.....I wish I were there! We're looking forward to spring and getting outdoors daily. Spring arrives in Wisconsin in about July...that's winter sarcasm setting in.
One quick note about the photo of Jackson in his bed with his jacket and hat on. He had only slept 30 minutes at daycare all day and when I got him home he was a sack of potatos. Not even the dogs jumping and running woke him up so I just laid him down in all his garb and let him get his rest. He's rarely that sacked out...

I love the giggling video - Sam's cousin Erik has a similar one. Such fun! What he needs is a wooden spoon to bang on those pans! Enjoy your little guy!
The laughing video is very cute! He sounds like one of those jolly ol' laughing babies you can watch on You Tube. Wow, you guys have had A LOT of snow & ice. It really has been a frigid and snowy winter for everybody in the midwest this year. As my friends have been saying they are tired of wearing sweaters its time to break out the sandals...I wish! Stay warm!
