Sleeping Through the Night and Jackson's First Big Hike

Maybe Jackson knew that the next day was a biog day or maybe he didn't, I don't care because he slept through the night for the first time on Friday! Of course at 6 am I woke up and ran in to his room convinced he had quite breathing. Chris had checked on him at 1 am and I had checked on him at 2:30 am both assuming he would be up at any moment. To commemorate the great milestone we took a photo and video of him upon his awakening. We actually had to wake him up at 6:30 am because Saturday we took a trip up north to go hiking along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Thank God Jackson was well rested. He did so good, sleeping most of the time and entertaining himself the other times....who's child is this? : ) We ended up hiking for about 2 hours from White Fish Dunes State Park up to Cave Point County Park and back. We started at about 8 am because it was a scorcher yesterday (92); today too (95). We took a lot of photos and a video of our trip. I even managed to get Chris changing Jackson's diaper in the back of the Trailblazer, duty calls! Hope everyone is staying cool and enjoying their weekend...they always go so fast!!!
